BlueRISC Awarded Navy Contract to Develop AI-Based GPS Spoofing Detection and Situational Awareness Solution 800 450 BlueRISC

Amherst, MA, November 2024. BlueRISC has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract to develop GPS IntelliSense, a software-only solution delivering advanced GPS jamming and spoofing detection, attribution, and characterization to support Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) situational awareness. GPS IntelliSense provides a low-cost, AI/ML-driven alternative to traditional hardware-based solutions, offering enhanced resilience against sophisticated GPS attacks, including nation-state-grade spoofing and jamming. The solution is designed to integrate with existing systems, such as the Navy’s GPNTS, complementing resident anti-jam/spoof antenna systems by introducing real-time threat characterization and AI-informed mitigation. Capable of identifying advanced attacks – such as nanosecond-level walk-off and multiple-position deception – even under jamming conditions, GPS IntelliSense delivers the precision and insight needed to maintain navigational integrity in contested environments.
