BlueRISC Receives Navy Funding Extension to Advance LLM-Based Software Assurance Technology

Amherst, MA, March 2026. BlueRISC has received a funding extension from the U.S. Navy to continue advancing its Large Language Model (LLM)-based software assurance technology. Building on prior work, the effort focuses on enhancing AI-driven vulnerability discovery, automated analysis, and system resilience across mission-critical platforms. By leveraging LLMs and methodology to fine tune with RL, SFT, etc, the solution aims to improve the identification of previously unknown weaknesses while reducing manual effort. This extension reflects the Navy’s continued investment in intelligent, scalable capabilities for software assurance and cyber resilience, supporting wide ranging critical mission areas.
